Ich hatte wirklich viele spannende Erlebnisse in Aguascalientes. Es sind unbezahlbare Eindrücke, wenn man Teil einer mexikanischen Familie sein darf!
Wir waren ständig unterwegs, um bei Claudias Familie und Freunden zu essen, tanzen, feiern...
Man bekommt einen Einblick in das Leben der Familie...
Einer von Claudias Cousins erzählte, dass die Oma seiner Frau 22 Kinder, davon 3x Zwillinge gebar und mit 12Jahren das erste Kind bekommen hat....alle haben überlebt, klingt verrückt, aber hier bekommen die Mädels sehr früh ihre Kinder und es ist üblich, dass man zu Hause wohnt bis man verheiratet ist! Mittlerweile verändert es sich und die Eltern sind offener und die Kinder ziehen durchaus auch schon unverheiratet aus.

Mittlerweile verändert es sich und die Eltern sind offener und die Kinder ziehen durchaus auch schon unverheiratet aus.
Abends ging es immer Gassi mit Claudias 5 Hunden (Flaca, Whiskey, Gina, Tobi und Belusa).
Am 5. Januar waren wir alle zusammen Fisch essen und Claudias Familie erzählte den Kellnern, dass das mein Geburtstag ist- ich bekam einen Sombrero aufgesetzt, einen Kuchen mit einer (wunder-)Kerze, die sich selbst entzündete, sobald ich sie ausgeblasen habe-->somit hatte ich "endlose" Wünsche :-)), viel Musik und Fotos!
Das war ein weiteres unvergessliches Erlebnis. Nun habe ich 2 Geburtstage. Mein mexikanischer Geburtstag ist am 05.01. :-)
Anschließend ging es zur Mall, bisschen window Shopping, und dann zu !!!8.!!! im Auto nach Hause! "Just the mexican way of traveling"
Abends bei Claudia angekommen, kam ein Freund (Carlos) vorbei und brachte zu Ehren des Heiligen Dreikönigstag "Rosca de Reyes" (=eine Art Hefezopf), jeder schneidet sich ein Stück ab, wer das Plastik Baby-Püppchen hat, muss am 02.02.eine Party geben. Claudias Bruder Felipe und Carlos hatten das Stück mit der Puppe. Leider findet die Party ohne mich statt....
Wie ihr seht, gibt es also immer ein Grund zu feiern.
Am 06.01 durfte ich mit Claudia zur Arbeit (sie ist Englisch Lehrerin für 5 jährige) :-)
Wir mussten 1,5 Stunden mit 2 Bussen fahren und haben von 9:00 - 11:30 Uhr 3 Klassen unterrichtet, dann Lunchbreak gehabt und haben die Sonne im Park genossen.
Derzeit hat es hier in Aguascalientes auch nur 10-18°C. Am Nachmittag hatten wir nochmal 2 Klassen unterrichtet von 14:00 - 15:30Uhr. Die Kinder waren fasziniert von mir. Die Mädchen haben immer wieder mein "gelbes Haar" angefasst. Als Claudia sagte, dass ich von "Alemania" komme, fragten manche Kinder "Animal"??? "Nein, nein, Alemania....das ist ein Land, kein Tier. Es ist 15 Stunden mit dem Flugzeug entfernt.....Eines der Kinder sagte: "Ich will auch einmal in ein Flugzeug steigen". Und auch wenn wir immer wieder sagten, dass ich kein Spanisch, sondern nur Englisch spreche, versuchten die Kinder mit Händen und Füßen mir ihre Stories zu erzählen. Sie umarmten mich und wollten mich nicht gehen lassen. Da es hier keine Heizungen gibt, sitzen die Kinder mit Mütze, Schal, Handschuhen und dicken Jacken in den Klassenzimmern. Für uns nicht vorstellbar. Ich bin froh, dass ich dies miterleben durfte. Da wird einem wieder einmal bewusst wie gut man es zu Hause hat.
Am Abend haben wir noch Claudia's Cousine Tutu getroffen. Sie hat mich vor 1,5 Jahren in Deutschland besucht. So haben wir dann den letzten Abend ausklingen lassen.
Heute morgen bin ich um 7 Uhr aufgestanden, um Claudia und ihren Bruder Felipe zu verabschieden.
Es ist zwar schon 2 Jahre her, als wir uns das letzte Mal gesehen haben, aber es fühlt sich an, als wäre es gestern gewesen. Ich habe hier so viel Gastfreundschaft erleben dürfen. Unglaublich. Das ist wahre Freundschaft über solch eine Distanz.
Später ging es mit Claudias Tante aus Mexico City, die derzeit ein paar Wochen in Ags verbringt zum Frühstücken (es gab Gorditas) und jetzt sitze ich am Flughafen und warte auf mein Flug.

The first few days with my friend in Aguascalientes are over now and I fly to the East Coast and start a 2-week language school!
I really had many exciting experiences in Aguascalientes.
I've been part of a mexican family and this is a priceless experience.
You get a glimpse into the lives of the family, when you go out to eat with Claudia's family and friends, you are dancing andcelebrating ...it's always fun.
One of Claudia's cousin told us that the grandmother of his wife had 22 children, including 3x twins and she has received her first baby when she was 12 years old... all of them have survived, sounds crazy, but here the girls get their children very early and it is common that you live at home until you are married! Meanwhile, it is changing, and the parents are more open-minded and the children move out - also if they're not married yet. Every evening we went for a walk with Claudia 5 dogs (Flaca, whiskey, Gina, Tobi and Belusa). That was crazy.
On January 5th, we had dinner with Claudia's family and they told the waiter that this is my Birthday.
I got a sombrero on my head, they placed a cake with a (wonder) candle that lit itself as soon as I blown it -> so I had "endless" wishes:-)), of course again lots of music and photos! :-)
That was another unforgettable experience. Now I have 2 birthdays. My Mexican birthday is on January 5th.Then we went to the mall, little strolling around and then we've been 8persons in the car to go home! "Just the mexican way of traveling"...fun experience.In the evening a friend came over (Carlos) and brought in honor of the Holy Epiphany "Rosca de Reyes" (= a kind of brioche), everybody cut off a piece and the person who has the plastic baby doll must have to give a Party on February 2nd. Claudia's brother Felipe and Carlos had the the doll. Unfortunately, the party will take place without me ....As you can see, there is always a reason to celebrate.

We had to take 2 busses and traveled about 1.5 hours. Claudia tought in 3 different classes from 9:00 - 11:30am, then we took our lunch break and have enjoyed the sun in the park.
Currently it has here in Aguascalientes also only 10-18 ° C. In the afternoon we had another 2 classes taught by 14:00 - 15: 30h. The children were fascinated by me. The girls touched always my "yellow hair". When Claudia told them that I come from "Alemania", then some children asked "from Animal" ??? "No, no, from Alemania .... this is a country, not an animal. It is located 15 hours away by plane ..... One of the children said." I want to get on a plane one day..."

Also though. we said again and again that I do not speak Spanish but only English, the children tried with hands and feet to tell me their stories. They hugged me and would not let me go. Because there is no heater in the class rooms, the children sit with cap , scarf, gloves and warm jackets in the classrooms. For us this sounds strange. I'm glad I was part of this experience. that's when you once again realize how good you have it at home.
In the evening we have met Claudia's cousin Tutu. She has visited me in Germany 1.5 years ago.
This morning I got up at 7 clock to say goodbye to my very very good friend Claudia. I will miss her. It's always a good time hanging out with her. Also it's been 2years we saw each other, it feels like just a few days. This is good friendship.

Later on I went with Claudias Aunt and Uncle (they're visiting Ags from Mexico City right now) for breakfast (we had Gorditas) and then to the Airport - where I am waiting now for my flight.
