Endlich Angekommen....nachdem mein Flug in Mexico 1 Stunde Verspätung hatte, bin ich sicher in Mérida gelandet!
Mario und seine Freundin Inogui haben mich abgeholt und wir sind noch in ein spanisches Restaurant ausgegangen, um Tapas zu essen und Wein zu trinken! Es hatte immernoch 24°C :-) *finally hot* Mario zeigte mir dann noch kurz die wichtigsten Dinge in der Umgebung und dann fiel ich auch schon müde ins Bett. Er ist wirklich ein sehr fürsorglicher Host. Ich habe meine eigenen Schlüssel und ein kleines Prepaid-Handy bekommen, auf dem Mario mich dann jederzeit erreichen kann bzw. ich ihn oder seine Freundin, wenn ich "verloren" gehe oder irgendetwas brauche.
Am 08.01 war ich dann auf mich alleine gestellt und hatte quasi sturmfrei. Den Tag verbrachte ich erstmal mit ausschlafen und Rucksack ausräumen. Mario erzählte noch, dass er mit den Nachbarn einen Deal hat. Sobald was auffälliges gesichtet wird, soll man den zuständigen Nachbarn anrufen! Ich ging gerade aus dem Haus, um in den Supermarkt zu gehen und da fuhr auch schon ein Polizist entlang und hielt mich an. "Wer bist du, woher kommst du, wie heißt du, was machst du hier?" Nachdem alle Fragen auf holprigem Spanisch beantwortet waren, verabschiedete er sich freundlich und fuhr weiter.

Nachdem alle Fragen auf holprigem Spanisch beantwortet waren, verabschiedete er sich freundlich und fuhr weiter.
Mein bestes Lebensmittel, welches ich ergatterte war die Papaya.... Ich liebe Papaya. Und es war eine große Papaya für nur 1€. *da kommt der Schwabe durch* "haha"
Aber das allerschönste an dem Tag war die Skype-session mit meinem Freund <3 <3 <3
Am Nachmittag bin ich dann noch in einen Park gegangen und habe ein bisschen die Nachbarschaft erkundet.
Abends ging es downtown zum Couchsurfing meeting. Es war lustig. Jeder war sehr freundlich und bemüht mit mir Spanisch und Englisch zu reden.
Am 09.01. bin ich morgens hochmotiviert zum joggen gegangen :-) Später bin ich dann das erste Mal alleine mit dem Bus zum Language-exchange-meeting (Sprachaustausch) gefahren. Anschließend ging es zum Konzert von Rául di Blasi. Dort habe ich einen leckeren Maiskolben, der in Mayonnaise gewälzt wurde und mit Parmesan, Chili und Limone bestreut wurde gegessen. So lecker.
Danach ging es in einen bekannten Club downtown, called "Mezcaleria".
Jetzt ist erstmal Wochenende...Mal sehen was so ansteht.
Bin sehr aufgeregt und gespannt auf Montag, wenn die Sprachschule beginnt.

07.01.15 ~9pm.
Finally I arrived safe in Mérida .... after my flight to Mexico it was one hour delayed.
Mario and his girlfriend Inogui picked me up and we went in a Spanish restaurant to eat tapas and drink wine! It was still 24 ° C:-) * hot * Mario finally showed me briefly the most important things in the neighbourhood and then I was ready to go to sleep.
He really is a very caring host. I got my own key and a small prepaid cell phone, so I can call anytime Mario or Inogui.
Jan.08th I was on my own. I spent the day with sleeping in and organized my backpack. Mario told me that he has a deal with the neighbors. Once somebody see something strange should call the neighbor! I just went out of the house to go to the supermarket when a police officer drove along and stopped me. "Who are you, where are u from, what's your name, what are you doing here?" After all the questions were answered on rough Spanish, he said goodbye friendly and drove on.
My best food I got was a papaya .... I love papaya. And it was a big papaya for just 1€. *Lisa, the money-safer*
But the most beautiful thing on the day was the Skype session with my boyfriend <3 <3 <3
In the afternoon I went to a park and explored the neighborhood.
In the evening we went downtown to a Couchsurfing meeting. It was funny. Everyone was very friendly and eager to talk to me in Spanish and English.
On January 9th I went for a run highly motivated in the morning:-)
Later on, I took for the first time alone the bus to a Language-exchange-meeting.
After we've been to the concert of Rául di Blasi. There, I had a delicious corn on the cob that was tossed in mayonnaise and sprinkled with parmesan cheese, chili and lime. So delicious.
Then we went to a famous club downtown, called "Mezcaleria".
Now it's weekend. Let's see what's going on.
I'm very excited and looking forward to Monday, when the school starts.
