Punta del Este .... mein Ruhepol. Urlaub vom Urlaub ;-)
Auch wenn es tagsüber "nur" zwischen 23-27•C hat (1 Tag waren es sogar eisige 15•C) und man nicht ständig im Bikini und Shorts rumlaufen kann, geschweige denn in den kalten Atlantik springen, ist es die pure Erholung für mich.
Allein die ersten 2 Tage mit meinen hosts waren eine reine Wohltat für meine Seele ;-p
Vll liegt es auch am Passivrauch. Uruguay - das Land in dem Marihuana LEGAL ist!
Überall sitzen die Leute am Strand und in den Parks gesellschaftlich zusammen und rauchen ihren Joint. viele haben ihre Pflanzen zuhause, total legal! ;-p
Und dazu trinkt man seinen Mate-Tee ;-)
An Letzterem beteilige ich mich auch hin und wieder.
Mein Host Santiago und seine 2 Mitbewohner waren super klasse!
Das Wochenende bei Ihnen war einfach der Hammer!
Wir verbrachten die Nachmittage bis spät in die Nacht hinein mit deren Freunden am Strand oder am Plaza und machten viel "Sport" = slackline, Diabolo, Skateboard, Frisbee, Fahrradfahren.
Wir haben gemeinsam gekocht und abends ging es auf eine Geburtstagsparty! Total cool. Wir haben viel gelacht und getanzt. Überall war ich herzlich willkommen und wurde gut aufgenommen! Genau das ist es was ich so liebe am couchsurfing. Man lernt die Leute, Kultur und deren Land auf eine komplett andere Art und Weise kennen - dafür bin ich sehr dankbar!
Die restlichen Tage war ich in einem
Hostel und habe mich einfach nur treiben lassen, verschiedene Strände angeguckt, Muscheln gesammelt, relaxed und einfach nur das Leben genossen ;-) da ich früh morgens bereits am Flughafen in Montevideo sein muss, hab ich mir am Nachmittag davor noch "kurz" die Stadt angeguckt. War nett anzusehen, aber Ist nicht meins.... lieber nochmal länger in Punta del Este.
Uruguay war ein schöner Abschluss meiner 4-Wöchigen Südamerikareise!!
Jetzt freue ich mich aber auch wieder aufs nach Hause kommen, das eigene Bett, frische Kleidung, Freunde und Familie! 👍🏼😊

.... my resting place. Holiday from vacation ;-)
Even if it is "only" up to 23C during the day and you can not walk around in bikini and shorts, or even jump into the cold Atlantic, it is the pure recovery for me.
In the afternoon it cools down and it gets very windy (you need warm clothes).
Just the first 2 days with my hosts were a pure blessing for my soul ;-)
Uruguay - the country where marijuana is legal!
Everywhere at the beach & parks the people sit together socially and smoke their joint. Many have their plants at home, totally legal! ; -p
I just like to drink mate tea ;-)
My host Santiago and his 2 roommates are super great!
The weekend with them was simply the best!
We spent the afternoons until late into the night with their friends at the beach or at the plaza and did a lot of "sports" = slackline, diabolo, skateboard, frisbee, biking.
We cooked together and in the evening we went to a birthday party! We laughed a lot, danced. Everywhere I was warmly welcomed and was well received! This is exactly what I love so much at couchsurfing. You get to know the people, culture and their country in a completely different way - for this I am very grateful!
The remaining days I stayed in a
Hostel, enjoyed the beach, sun and life.
Before i took my flight back home i stayed 1night in Montevideo and explored for half a day the city. Well....it's nice! But I prefer staying at punta del este ;-) Anyway Uruguay was a great place to stay before turning back home.
.Now I'm looking forward going home, sleeping in my own bed, being surrounded by my beloved family and friends again 👍🏼😊
