In San Gil verbrachten wir 2 Nächte!
Wir kamen wie gesagt sehr spät an (ca.23:45 Uhr) und entschieden uns trotzdem die knappe 3km vom Busterminal in die Stadt zu laufen! Dort angekommen, war es ein Desaster unsere Unterkunft zu finden und da es bereits 0:30 Uhr war, konnten wir auch nicht einfach so Menschen auf der Straße treffen, um nach dem Weg zu fragen!
Gegen 1 Uhr nachts haben wir es dann gefunden und der Besitzer war super nett und hat alles für uns vorbereitet und auf uns gewartet!
Am nächsten Tag schauten wir uns die Stadt an, liefen zu einem Aussichtspunkt und fuhren noch nach "Barichara". Sehr schöne, romantische, kleine Stadt!
Dort gönnten wir uns ein Dinner in einem etwas schöneren, besseren Restaurant! Wir saßen an einem Tisch auf einem kleinen Balkon mit toller Aussicht und genossen einen Teller leckere Paella.
Am 9.04 (unserem 7 monatigen) gönnten wir uns ein Adventure : "paragliding". Es war ein super tolles, unvergessliches Erlebnis!!
Danach liefen wir wieder zum Busterminal und nahmen einen Bus nach Bogotá. Die Fahrt war am Schluss etwas nervenaufreibend...wir hatten Plätze in der ersten Reihe. Zum einen super, weil man eine tolle Sicht hat...aber auch wirklich alles mitbekommt...es regnete die meiste Zeit und der Scheibenwischer ging kaputt! Irgendwann sah der Fahrer kaum etwas, machte aber null Anstalten stehen zu bleiben....Irgendwie schafften wir es doch in den frühen Morgenstunden heil in Bogota anzukommen, dort verweilten wir noch kurz am Terminal, aßen Frühstück und dann ging es zu der Familie von einem Freund meines Freundes bei der wir 2 Nächte verbringen dürfen. Diese besitzt ein orientalisches Restaurant direkt an der Haltestelle "Minuto de Dios" (Don Kebab- super lecker).
Wir schauten uns Bogota an und gingen zu einer Kirche auf einen Berg mit 1500 Stufen und Ausblick über Bogota. (Cerro Monserrate). Verrückte Großstadt! Seit kurzem existiert hier ein neues Bus-System "Transmilenium"... Als Tourist blickt man überhaupt nicht durch, aber selbst die Einheimischen und die "Polizei" haben da so ihre Probleme einem die richtige Verbindung zu nennen!
Hier kennt man auch keine Regeln: Dass man erst die Leute aussteigen lässt, bevor man einsteigt ist ein Fremdwort! Alle drängen gleichzeitig rein und raus - wie die Tiere! Und das Beste ist, dass auch Leute vor der Bustüre stehen bleiben, die gar nicht in den Bus einsteigen wollen und machen einem keinen Platz! Schrecklich! Marcin musste öfter sanften Ellbogen-Einsatz bringen, damit wir vollbepackt in den Bus konnten. :-)
Bogota ist nicht unsere Stadt...wir waren froh, dass wir einen günstigen Flug ergatterten und am Sonntag für 5 Tage auf eine Insel "flüchteten" = San Andrés! ,
Dort hatten wir die ersten 3 Nächte in einem Gästehaus namens "Posada Caribbean Refuge" gebucht (15-20 min Fußmarsch vom Sandstrand entfernt). Und 15 min Fahrt vom Zentrum! Wir wollten Ruhe und einfach nur Zeit für uns! Das Gästehaus wird von einem sehr netten Ehepaar geführt, täglich wurden die Zimmer gereinigt und es gab eine gemeinschaftliche Küche. Wir mieteten für 1 Tag einen Roller und fuhren einmal um die Insel. Für die letzten 2 Nächte ergatterten wir ein Sonderangebot und gönnten uns ein Superior-Doppelzimmer mit riesigem Bad, inkl Badewanne im "Casa VIP Hotel Familiar" --> eine Mega luxuriöse Villa mit 4 Zimmern! Das Glück stand auf unserer Seite und wir hatten das Haus komplett für uns alleine, inkl Swimmingpool! Als wir ankamen, standen 3 Hausmädchen bereit, die uns Frühstück zubereiten und bei Fragen/Wünschen zur Seite standen! Aber wir machten Ihnen keine Arbeit und verhielten und sehr zurückhaltend! So viel Luxus hatten wir noch nie! Am Freitag (17.04) ging leider schon wieder der Flieger zurück nach Bogota! Dort stürzten wir uns nochmal ins Bus-Chaos und verzweifelten leicht, bis wir endlich den Weg zum Hotel gefunden haben. Es bleibt viel Zeit auf der Strecke, wenn man den Bus nimmt...aber es kostet auch nur 1/8 dessen was ein Taxi kosten würde!
Am 18.04 hieß es dann Abschied nehmen!
4 Wochen waren um, Marcin muss wieder zurück nach Deutschland und ich reise weiter! Dazu keine genaueren Details... Ich fuhr um 20 Uhr über Nacht nach Cali (COP $ 68,000, ca 10h) und habe schon wieder ein Luxus Bus mit Filmen und wifi!
In Cali angekommen (5:15 Uhr) wartete ich auf Tageslicht, ca 1h) und dann nahm ich wieder den Bus "Mio" (COP $ 1700/Fahrt, funktioniert ähnlich wie in Bogota, nur übersichtlicher) und begab mich in mein Hostel. Ich hatte ein 4er-Dorm (COP $ 20000) für mich alleine, weil der Peruaner am Abend abreiste.
Den Tag nutzte ich um die Stadt anzugucken und 1h auf einen Berg zu klettern, um eine schöne Aussicht zu haben!! (Loma de la tres cruzes).
Und heute (20.04) ging es nach dem Aufstehen nach Popayan (3h, COP $ 14000).
Nachdem ich im Hostel eingecheckt habe, bin ich gleich los um die Stadt zu besichtigen. Es ist recht übersichtlich. Leider wurde meine Besichtigung gegen 17Uhr von einem heftigen Gewitter mit Platzregen unterbrochen. Es hörte nicht auf zu regnen (20Uhr und immernoch Regen). Ich kam durchnässt und durchgefroren im Hostel an und hatte Gott sei Dank heißes Wasser zum Duschen. Dann habe ich Abendgegessen und den Blog fertig gestellt und dann gehts auch schon wieder ins Bett. :-)

In San Gil we spent 2 nights!
We arrived very late as I said (~.11: 45pm) and still decided to walk the 3km from the busstation into town! Once there, it was a disaster to find our accommodation and as it was already 0:30 am, we could not simply ask for directions!
At 1am we finally found it and the owner was super nice and has everything prepared and was waiting for us!
The next day we visited the city, walked to a lookout point and drove with a Bus to "Barichara". Very nice, romantic little town! There we treated ourselves with a dinner at a little nice restaurant! We sat at a table on a small balcony with great views and enjoyed a plate of Paella.
At April 9th (our 7 month anniversary), we treated ourselves to an adventure = "Paragliding".
It was a super great, unforgettable experience !!
Then we walked back to the bus station and took a bus to Bogota. The ride was a little nerve-wracking at the end ... we had seats in the front row. On the one site it's great because it has a great view ... but you also really will notice anything ... it rained most of the time and the windshield wiper broke! Eventually, the driver saw little, but didn't stop to fix it or call for help .... Somehow we made it to Bogota in the early morning hours. We ate breakfast and then we went to the family of a friend of my boyfriend which we were able to spend 2 nights. They run an oriental restaurant right at the stop "Minuto de Dios" (Don Kebab- super tasty).
We did sightseeing in Bogota and went to a church on a hill with 1500 steps and great views of Bogota. (Cerro Monserrate). It's a Crazy city! Recently, here is a new bus system called "Transmilenium" ... As a tourist you don't get the system, but even the locals and the "police" their problems giving you the right connections!
The people here also don't know rules: First let people step out of the bus and the go in. But people don't think about this! All at the same time pushing in and out - like animals! And the best thing is that people stop before the bus doors even if this is not their bus and they make no space! Horrible! Marcin had often bring gentle elbow-use, so that we could fully loaded get into the bus. :-)
Bogota is not our city ... we were glad that we got hold of a cheap flight and on Sunday we went for 5 days on an island = San Andrés! .
There we had booked the first 3 nights in a guest house called "Posada Caribbean Refuge" (15-20 min walk from the sandy beach). And 15 min drive from the center! We wanted to rest and just having time for us! The guest house is run by a very nice couple, the rooms were cleaned daily and there was a communal kitchen. We rented a scooter for 1 day and drove around the island. For the last 2 nights we got hold of a special deal and treated ourselves to a superior double room with huge bathroom including bathtub in the "Casa VIP Hotel Familiar" -> a mega luxury villa with 4 bedrooms! The luck is on our side and we had the place entirely to ourselves, including swimming pool! When we arrived the Villa there were 3 girls ready to preparing us breakfast and were available for questions / requests to help! But we were behaved and tried not to make them extra work. So much luxury we have never had! On Friday ( april 17th) we had to take the plane back to Bogota! There again we went into the bus chaos and desperate gently until we finally found the way to the hotel. There is plenty of time on the track, if you take the bus ... but it costs only 1/8 of what it would cost a taxi!.....
At April 18th it was time to say goodbye!
After 4 weeks Marcin has to return to Germany and I continue to travel! Given no precise details ... I drove by 8pm with an overnight Bus to Cali (COP $ 68,000, about 10h) and had again a luxury bus with movies and wifi! Once in Cali (5:15 am) I waited for daylight, about 1 hour) and then I took the bus again, here it calles "Mio" (COP $ 1700 / drive, works similarly like in Bogota, but more understandable) and went into my hostel. I had a 4-Bed-Dorm (COP $ 20,000) because a guy from Peru left in the evening. The day I used to visit the cityand hiked 1h to a mountain to have a beautiful view !! (Loma de la tres cruzes).
And today (april 20th) i went in the morning to Popayan (3h, COP $ 14,000).
Here I walked to my Hostel and have a full 4-bed dorm. I explored the city until pooring rain started and never stopped. I got soaking wet, but luckily here I can take a hot shower. And then I ate dinner and wrote the Blog and was ready for bed again.....
